In one of the most spiritually and architecturally significant landmarks in Karbala, AL-REYAM proudly executed the complete HVAC systems for the Shrine of Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her). The project required precision, sensitivity to the sacred environment, and a deep understanding of advanced climate control systems.
Scope of HVAC Work:
Central Air Conditioning Systems: Supply and installation of ducted systems and concealed units, providing balanced cooling across prayer halls, corridors, and service areas while preserving the architectural integrity of the shrine.
Ventilation & Fresh Air Supply: Designing systems to ensure continuous air circulation and clean airflow in accordance with health and comfort standards.
Mechanical Ductwork & Insulation: Full fabrication and installation of duct networks, using insulated materials to reduce energy loss and maintain efficiency.
Control Systems & Zoning: Integration of smart control systems to allow for temperature regulation in different zones, tailored to usage patterns and crowd dynamics.
Noise & Vibration Control: Special attention was given to ensure the operation of the HVAC systems remains silent and unobtrusive in this sacred space
Execution with Reverence:
Recognizing the sanctity of the site, AL-REYAM carried out all works with the utmost care and professionalism — coordinating with structural, architectural, and religious authorities to ensure compliance with technical and cultural standards.
Through this project, AL-REYAM reaffirmed its commitment to delivering engineering excellence in service of faith, heritage, and community comfort.
